Creation Of The World’s Largest Skateboard

Largest Skateboard

Rob Dyrdek and Joe Ciaglia started a working relationship more than 3 years ago, in the design and construction of Rob’s Fantasy Factory. After several successful projects working together, Joe and Rob decided to create the World’s Largest Skateboard ever built. This unique project had one rule, the skateboard would need to be done with the exact specifications and quality parts of a real skateboard.

The World’s Largest Skateboard features a 7 ply pressed wood deck, real grip tape, custom graphics, custom fabricated steel trucks with adjustable rubber bushings, rubber vehicle tires and bearings.  The measures of the board are 36 feet 7 inches long, 8 foot 8 inches wide, stands 3 feet 7 inches tall, and weighs in at over 3,600 pounds. Once the skateboard was finished, it was presented on February 25, 2009 on the MTV series Fantasy Factory, and it exceeded all the expectations since it was 100% authentic in specifications and parts.

In 2010, Guinness World Records certified the skateboard as the largest skateboard in the world.
