Kitzbühel is also known as Kitz and covers four amazing areas that total 170 kilometers of slopes. For advanced snowboarders, Kitzbühel has the world’s most difficult downhill trail.
St. Anton, Austria
St. Anton is great for everyone, since it has different types of terrains which allow snowboarders of different skill levels. To be more specific, St. Anton has 260 kilometers of piste, 185 kilometers of deep snow descents, and 85 lifts. Also, St. Anton is well known for its great nightlife activities. The easiest way to get to the resort is by train from Zurich.
Cortina d’Ampezzo, Italy
This gorgeous resort is located on the Dolomite Mountains and it is famous for its great grooming and wide variety of nursery slopes. This amazing place has access to 1,225 kilometers of trails through an interconnected system, making it a paradise for snowboarders around the world. You can get to Cortina d’Ampezzo by train from Venice.
Levi is the largest snowboarding resort in all Finland, and it’s located in the Artic Circle. On a perfect day you can catch Northern Lights. This amazing resort has 26 lifts (including T-bars), 230 kilometers of maintained terrain, and 45 trails. If you are planning to have an adventure here, you need to come well prepared for very low temperatures.
