Costa Rica is a small country with the Pacific Ocean on one side and the Caribbean on the other. What this means is that you can go to many different surf spots and ride many different waves in a short period of time. In one day you could surf two world class spots and be ready to surf some more. Another great thing is a lot of people surf and a greater number of people speak English, so finding your way around or getting info about the surfing scene is no problem.
