Discover what the world searched for in 2013
You can tell what’s important to people by what they spend most of their time doing.
Someone once said:
“You want to know a person’s priorities? Check their agenda!”
True. Also true is the fact that: WE HAVE TO MAKE TIME for the things that matter in life. We spend more and more time connected, via social media, email, phones, than ever before in History. Mid December 2013, as a closing to the year, Google published some of the 2013 Trends under What did the world search for in 2013? Some of the results were interesting.
Where you part of the statistics?
Nelson Madela, Paul Walker and Malala Yousafi where the most popular people of 2013. The Boston Marathon, Haiyan Typhoon and the US Government Shutdown where the most seen events online. iPhone 5, Samsung Galaxy S4 and Play Station 4 where the hottest toys around. Man of Steel, Iron Man 3 and World War Z the movies most people wanted to know about. You can search more lists on Google’s 2013 Trends.
Last year, the world mourned the passing of a world renown and respected political figure and the tragic death of a celebrity who was going Fast on and off the screen. We heard a very loud voice on behalf of female access to education and equality, watch the devastation of natural catastrophe and observed the U.S. governmental crisis. But also kept up with expensive technology and toys. These were the main topics that interested and impacted our world. At least our cyber world. Do you think this reflects our priorities and the way people invest their time?
